Reviews and Ratings
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The beautifully styled rooms with fine linens and comfortable beds made my holiday even more lovely. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff always ready to assist. The location, right on the beach, was perfect for enjoying Santa Monica. Although the dining experience was a bit simple, the overall stay was amazing.
Staying at the hotel was a real treat! The location was superb, just by the ocean and a short walk to the bustling promenade. The service was top-notch, with accommodating staff making me feel right at home. The dining options were a bit pricey, but the view made up for it. Overall, a fantastic experience with only minor drawbacks.
The hotel offers better comfort than The Shutters next door and has a nice pool but lacks a beachfront view. However, noise from trolleys and construction was noticeable, and the room with the elevator shaft was inconvenient for families.
The hotel was absolutely beautiful with a perfect location at Santa Monica Beach, overlooking the street. The rooms were very noisy, and a tiny bit worn. However, the new room I got was much better, more spacious, and less noisy.
I had a lovely stay at the hotel, although some aspects could be improved. The cozy rooms lacked balconies, which was a bit disappointing given the sunny Southern California location. The decor and books created a homely atmosphere. The manager was incredibly helpful during my stay.
Staying here was such a treat! The rooms, located on the bottom floor, were a massive benefit to our stay, especially after the Grammys party the night before, as I was ready for an early check-in. The service was top-notch, going above and beyond to mail my forgotten items promptly. The location is ideal, right on the beach and within walking distance to Santa Monica Pier and great restaurants. The dining experience was exceptional, especially at 'Shutters on the Beach' for breakfast with a view. Overall, a fabulous experience with just a few minor drawbacks.
My stay at this hotel was phenomenal. The rooms were exceptional, beautifully decorated, and clean, with a lovely beach theme and luxurious amenities. However, the price for the rooms is quite high, starting at $500-600 per night. The service provided was beyond friendly and accommodating, but unfortunately, no compensation was offered. The location is convenient for exploring Santa Monica, near the pier and with charming touches. The dining experience was simple and not outstanding, but you can opt for breakfast at 'Shutters on the Beach. ' Overall, a luxurious stay with a steep price tag.
